Notes from the Deckle Edge
Still pondering this last piece, it may be my best work. Of course we always think our latest piece is the best thing we've done, right? I'm questioning one little thing about it. When I have resolved whether it needs changing, it will be done. It still sits above the fireplace waiting for my stamp of approval. Back to my brushes.

Don't look at it for a few days and then study it again. Just beware the overworked section! Hi, long time no comment. Are we going to get a Crystal Bridges redux for the fall?

Hi! I've been studying this thing for weeks now. And you are so right, I did "fix" an area yesterday...and then I had to fix that. Ugh. So as of last night, I am calling it finished. It is definitely a Crystal Bridges redux and the piece I will enter in the AWS this year. But, it is all composition, I think you will enjoy it. I really do think it might be my best work yet. Had to get the geometry books out for the shadows, that about did me in. I've never had so many lines on a sketch. Talk to you soon.
