It's been a tough few days. I was about to wrap up the most important aspect of my newest painting, but I am sorry to share that I ruined it. Yup, flat out ruined it. It was devastating to realize that all that energy and time was for...well...squat. It happens. Let's just say I know why artists drink. (And here is a shout out to my good friend who, upon hearing this sad tale, sent me a text that read - "Cheers.") This was one of those times. So, it's been a couple of days and I am dragging myself to the drawing table today to begin again. Ugh. On an up note, I did add a new documentary review. So...back to my brushes.

I was pleased to receive the news that my painting was accepted into the Transparent Watercolor Society of America's 41st Annual Exhibition which will be at the Kenosha Public Museum (5500 First Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin) from May 6th to August 6th, 2017. Also, it is with great enthusiasm I share that with this acceptance I will receive Signature membership in the organization. I hope if you are in the area you will make plans to visit the exhibit. Congratulations to all the accepted artists! Back to my brushes.
