Spent the day helping out at a local fundraiser to promote literacy. I am always happy to do my part for this worthy cause. Now I am ready to sit down and enjoy the simple pleasure of having my feet up. Back to my brushes tomorrow.

Got scans of my three new paintings today. They all look great so I'm quite pleased. Back to my brushes.
"Good judgment comes from experience, and experience come from bad judgment." - Fred Brooks I have visitors, but did paint today and wrapped-up a few loose ends. Took the third painting off the board. I keep finding things that I know will make these paintings better, and have acted on those thoughts. But at some point, I'm going to have to stop. Back to my brushes.
"Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure science." - Edwin Hubble Didn't get to paint today. Spent the morning at the DMV renewing my license. You get the picture. Back to my brushes.
"What it lies in our power to do, it lies in our power not to do." - Aristotle Painted nine hours today. Luckily I got an early start, because the weather turned rainy and the light was awful this afternoon. Keep Calm and Soldier On. It might be done, so I am revisiting the first two and making a few changes. Will collect thoughts and have lunch with friends tomorrow. If you hadn't noticed, I have added my Art Documentary Reviews sections. I hope it helps if you are looking for a documentary to watch. I have many to add, but this is a good start. Back to my brushes.
"The function of good software is to make the complex appear to be simple." - Grady Booch Okay, almost finished. Painted nine hours today. Maybe two more days? I only have four items on my checklist this evening. Back to my brushes.
"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." - Richard Bach Painted all afternoon and I am happy with the results. Will continue tomorrow. Back to my brushes.
"Sometimes the poorest man leaves his children the richest inheritance." - Ruth E. Renkel Painted seven hours today and this painting is finally beginning to gel. That's right...it's gellin'. Back to my brushes.
"If you don't get everything you want, think of the things you don't get that you don't want." - Oscar Wilde Painted nine hours today, still miles to go before I sleep. Happiest with what I refer to as the "sunset handle". Watched a great documentary about Max Ernst. Back to my brushes.
"In the practice of tolerance, one's enemy is the best teacher." - Dalai Lama Still painting and it was rather slow going today. My cable has been out for two days now so I have been catching up on some documentaries instead. Tomorrow will be better. Back to my brushes.
