I am pleased to share that my painting "Revolutions of Five" was awarded the PleinAir Magazine Award at SouthWest Artists' "Art of the Heartland" Exhibit. American Art Collector Magazine has featured this show on their website. You may see the entire show here: www.upcomingshowsonline.com/show/artoftheheartland. If you are in the area be sure and see the exhibit at the Mena Art Gallery, 607 Mena St, Mena, Arkansas. Hours: 10-3. The Artist's Reception was held this past Friday evening and it was most enjoyable. It is always a treat seeing friends from other parts of the state that I rarely get to see; but equally joyous is the opportunity to meet new artists and art-enthusiasts that share my passion. A very strong show and I am honored to have my work exhibited there. We stayed at a local B&B called Janssen Park Place. If you are in the area I would highly recommend staying at this delightful establishment. The owners are lovely and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was out-of-this-world DELICIOUS! After taking photos all over town and spending time with a local historian at the railroad depot we headed to Little Rock for an appointment with my spouse's surgeon. For your enjoyment I have included an image from the trip. Back to my brushes.
