Let me just say...I am one happy camper. Back to my brushes. "Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead." - Charles Bukowski

Seeing a lot of family members the last couple of days and it has been great! Today I hope to get my brushes in hand, but I have hurt my shoulder and although I rested on a heating pad and took some pain killers last night...it's still hurting today. We'll see how the day progresses. It doesn't help that it is 14 degrees outside and I sit by a window to paint. I don't think being cold will help the situation. My current painting is calling me though, and I miss its company. Back to my brushes. "It is only in sorrow bad weather masters us; in joy we face the storm and defy it." - Amelia Barr Oh how I love the feel of the brush in my hand. I spent the last two days on a new study and I am happy to be immersed in my favorite endeavor. My new palette is a joy and a wonder and I am still learning new combinations that flip my switch. Yep, that's right, flip my switch. So I am figuring this one out as I go along. Back to my brushes.
"Pretending to know everything closes the door to finding out what's really there." - Neil Degrasse Tyson A small hiatus from the blog, but now I am back. I have a couple of paintings that are either in the works or ready to start. What am I working on...let me see, another in the Revolutions series, another in the Measure series, a completely off topic painting about a dream that woke me up (weird right?). I am happy to begin anew in 2016 and look forward to the many challenges that develop. Back to my brushes.
