I received the news that my entry for the 145th American Watercolor Society Annual International Exhibit was accepted. When I phoned in to acknowledge my acceptance I spoke with a delightful man with a very nice voice who asked me where I live. When I told him I was from Arkansas he replied that six people from Arkansas entered this year. He asked how many times I had entered and I told him this was my first time. He told me there was a lady whose work was accepted this year and that the last time she had been accepted was 19 years ago. He also told me that a gentleman was accepted for the first time this year after entering for 20 years. I'd like to meet these two! Thanks to all my friends who have sent congratulations. Your faith in me and my work is deeply appreciated.
