Today went to see the Angels and Tomboys exhibit with my partner. Here are two of my favorites "Lotus Lillies" by Charles Courtney Curran, and "Reading by the Brook" by Winslow Homer. I believe this one by Homer would have been unbelievably beautiful as a watercolor. Unfortunately and as usual, no watercolors in this particular exhibit. Wind your way downstairs and you will find a small exhibit of works on paper and there you will find a few - one that was painted by the first president of the American Watercolor Society. Back to my brushes.
