Notes from the Deckle Edge
I'm pleased to share a couple of noteworthy items. First, I received the news that my painting "Tooled Up" was selected for inclusion in Splash 19: The Illusion of Light! With over 1700 entries I am mindful of the special honor of having my work chosen. I want to thank Rachel Rubin Wolf and the entire team at F+W Media, and send my heartfelt congratulations to all the 126 artists whose work was selected. Second, I received the news that my painting in the 2017 TWSA 41st Annual Exhibition was received, passed opaque screening, and has been installed...and I may now use the TWSA letters. I am delighted to have reached the milestone of receiving signature status in the TWSA! Hooray! Third, I have added a new documentary review. If you are looking for something worthwhile to watch, you can check my list. As always, the latest reviews are at the bottom of the page. And last, please note that with new responsibilities in my life, I find I have less time to post. Perhaps it will make my posts more succinct. We can only hope. Back to my brushes.
"The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome." - Douglas Adams
