I'm pleased to share

I'm pleased to share that my painting Nature's Tools has been accepted in the National Watercolor Society's 100th International Open Exhibition! My thanks to the judges of selection: Katherine Chang Liu, Dean Mitchell, and John Salminen. This on-line exhibit runs from October 1, 2020 through January 30th, 2021. The ARTSPAN online gallery sales will open the same day. Back to my brushes.

I came here from a search for ways of storing watercolor tubes. For the present mine are in "Paint Tube Organizers" which are translucent strips of flexible plastic, almost as wide as a tube, with pockets into which a 15 ml tube just fits. I have hung them on the outsides of a tall bookcase. I like that I can see the colors at a glance. Each strip holds 34 tubes. They can also be kind of rolled up and put in a drawer, or stored in other ways. www.watercolorpto.com But for portability I'd want a separate strip with a limited palette, rather than carrying all colors. I like your discovery of the 8-compartment boxes, think I will try some.

My dogs and I are doing stay-at-home too. It does get old but it's what we need to do. And there are some great watercolor videos on youtube and elsewhere!
